Community and Citizenship
We believe that we are all part of a global human family, with each of us having our own unique contribution to make. We care about building integrated communities where everyone has an equal voice.
Love
Various spiritual teachings, such as A Course in Miracles, say that there are only two fundamental emotions: Love and Fear. We feel that Love = Life and Fear = No Life!
Authenticity
In order to enjoy good physical health and mental well-being, we consider that being genuine and true to one's own personality, spirit, character is vital.
Responsibility
We promote taking full responsibility for our lives. Our reaction to the events that occur is something we always have control over.
Intuitive Integrity
We value personal honesty and consistency in all aspects of our lives and believe we all have an internal intuitive wisdom that knows exactly what to say and do in all circumstances, if we would only listen.
Self-reflection
We regard introspection – the looking inside ourselves and examining our thoughts, feelings and behaviour to be fundamental to living our best lives.
SOS
We are a signposting and self-help community and we exist in order to share information and offer assistance to everyone who visits us.
Alliance and Alignment
We are complementary to any religion or belief system – concerned only in exploring honorable ideas, concepts and tools that enable us better understand ourselves and how we can harmoniously interconnect personally and in the world around us.
Seeking
We perceive that most people are consciously or subconsciously searching for answers to the ‘questions’ of their lives - seeking understanding, meaning and of course happiness!
Choice and Commitment
We feel that we all have a choice whether to be observers or participants in our lives and we as a community pledge to spread life affirming material all around the world.
Laughter and ‘Light’heartedness
Humour can be found in the most unlikely of situations. We do not take ourselves too seriously and advocate fun as well as work to achieve our full potential.
Openness and Optimism
We promise to share views and information freely and believe that for the first time in history it is becoming possible for us all to be and know who we really are.
Spirituality
We fundamentally believe all humanity consists of body, mind and spirit and we trust in a power part of and yet greater than ourselves.
Engertically Ethical
Science has proved that everything is made of and radiates energy. We consider that true ethical behaviour starts firstly inside us with our thoughts before manifesting outwards to our words and behaviour.
Tolerance and Trust
We vow to prohibit discrimination against people on the basis of disability, political or other opinion, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation and marital status. True acceptance of ourselves and each other leads to increased trust, co-operation and ultimately – peace. Isn’t that what we all really want?
